A variety of Bat species make good use of the derelict adjacent Cotton Mill. The wonderful wedding venue at Hazel Gap is also just a short car journey away. All are interconnected by the national cycle route which is also easily accessible from the village. Warsop is not too far away and has a fantastic range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy at your leisure. Warsop has plenty of historical buildings and features including a water mill and a windmill dating back hundreds of years. It hosts an annual carnival involving music and sports, held every July. Further afield, the cities of Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby will leave you spoilt for choice, all-year-round.
