Being a part of the Welbeck Estate and its rich history, Cuckney is home to a number of historically significant structures and features that are worth mentioning. The location was formerly a water mill that was in operation for many centuries. Clumber Park, the Welbeck Harley gallery museum, and the artisan bakery school are all close to Sherwood Forest, the Major Oak, and Sherwood Forest. A short drive will get you to the gorgeous Hazel Gap wedding location. All are connected by the national bicycle route, which is also easily accessible from the settlement. The nearby town of Warsop offers a wide variety of stores, bars, and restaurants that you can visit whenever you choose. A water mill and a windmill that date back hundreds of years are just two of the many ancient structures and features in Warsop. Every July, it holds a carnival that features a wide range of activities, such as music and sports.
