Nestled in the village of Misterton, this charming cottage has undergone a meticulous renovation. The village, graced with a local pub, rests near the boundaries of both Devon and Dorset. A mere 1.5 miles away lies the Georgian market town of Crewkerne, with independent shops, pubs and takeaways plus a railway station and indoor swimming pool. For additional retail therapy, venture to the market town of Yeovil (10 miles), or the county town of Taunton (22 miles). Explore the famous Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site for fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis, Dorset's iconic seaside town (both 17 miles), or Bridport with its twice weekly market (11 miles). There is a choice of country walks, cycle routes and golf at Cricket St Thomas (7.5 miles). Visit Forde Abbey (8 miles) and Montacute House (9.5 miles) and perhaps go to the Quantock Hills or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels. Step inside this beautiful characterful cottage and you will immediately find yourself in the light and airy lounge/diner with original flagstone and tiled flooring.
