Bassenthwaite Lake and the magnificent fells and peaks of Blencathra and Skiddaw are all within 20 miles. Head to Whinlatter Forest and follow the trails for all walking abilities, if you enjoy mountain biking then there are some great tracks to tackle here. Just 8 miles from the seaside town of Maryport with it's long sandy beaches ideal for your canine pals. On a wet day, why not visit the aquarium or roman museum at Maryport, or the local brewery and distillery tours. As you enter the property, you will head into the bright spacious hallway with a high ceiling and Velux windows.
