This bright and sunny cottage is full of history. It stands adjacent to a Grade II listed manor house close to the local church of St Michaels, built in 1770, and is situated in the village of Poole Keynes, which is well served by a local shop and pubs in the nearby Kemble, which is on the Paddington to Cheltenham railway line. Within a ten mile radius is Keynes Country Park and a choice of fishing and boating lakes, the Roman Capital of the Cotswolds Cirencester, with an amphitheatre, museum and Roman Villa, and finally, the famed Westonbirt Arboretum with spectacular walks through stunning woodland. Set within beautiful grounds, the surrounding fields and countryside are perfect for walks. The airy and welcoming lounge area is a relaxing space in which to unwind after a long day exploring the local area, with ample seating and a Smart TV and French doors leading to the patio and garden. The kitchen/dining area is to the rear of the property, and is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and a fridge/freezer, as well as a good sized dining table to seat up to four people. On the first floor is a landing, with doors leading to two spacious double bedrooms, both with amazing countryside views for you to enjoy come rain or shine. There is also a bathroom with a bath, shower and WC. Outside there is an enclosed garden with private patio and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining in the summer, or a morning coffee in the sun on summer mornings.
