This lovingly renovated property is situated in the small quaint hamlet of Lydmarsh in the south of Somerset near the borders of both Dorset and Devon. There is a choice of country walks, cycle routes and golf at Cricket St Thomas (3 miles). Explore the famous World Heritage Jurassic coastline where you can go fossil hunting on Charmouth beach or visit Lyme Regis, Dorset s iconic seaside town both 13.5 miles. Retail therapy can be found in the market towns of Chard (2.5 miles), Ilminster (5 miles), Crewkerne (6.5 miles) and the county town of Taunton (16.5 miles). Visit National Trust's Barrington Court (10 miles) and Montacute House (14 miles) and don t forget to go to the Quantock Hills, or the nature reserves on the Somerset Levels. Step into this beautiful property into a spacious hall with a useful cloakroom with a WC. From here, head into the lounge/diner which has a feature fireplace with an electric effect wood burner. It is a lovely room to relax in with your favourite book or you could enjoy watching a movie. Back to the hall and into the well equipped kitchen which has all the facilities you will need to cook a lazy breakfast or a delicious feast.
