• "It was one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in."

  Firstly the location was exceptional with incredible views. But, the place itself was amazing. It was incredibly well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host and the neighbours were really helpful and friendly. We even got an early check in! As people that travel with dogs, you often feel on edge about letting them into holiday cottages but you could tell the owners were really dog lovers and the place was excellent for dogs! We would love to come back!

• "Most comfortable & lovely Seaside home for our recent holiday."

  Loved the hot showers, comfy beds and harbour views from the front windows. The games room was a great evening past time and the welcome basket the best we have ever had ! So thoughtful !! Would love to come back

• "Absolutely fabulous!"

  Such a comfortable and welcoming home. Beautiful views. We had a wonderful stay. The house had everything we needed and more. The dog was in his element, such a treat for him to be on the beach for every single walk. Also, a real treat for us that he was allowed upstairs, he is used to sleeping in his bed in our bedroom at night so having to leave him in the kitchen at other holiday homes meant he took a while to settle, expecting for us to call him up to his bed and not really understanding what he was expected to do. What a thoughtful thing for the lovely owners to allow. Afterall, its as much his holiday as ours. Welcome pack was delicious, even treats, a ball and spare poo bags for the dog. They really have put a lot of thought into making their guests stay perfect. Excellent communication before the holiday from the owner, and a warm welcome and helpful tips from the lady next door on arrival. Property was clean, comfortable, inviting and truly a home from home (but with a much better view!) Great to have a little shop, pubs and a chip shop withing walking distance, but its a small island so easy to travel out and discover more. This made a great base to do so. I would highly recommend this property, and we all agree, we would love to return one day. One of the very best we have stayed in and we have been hiring holiday homes as a family group every year for the last 17 years. Thank you for letting us stay

• "This house is amazing in many ways!"

  ! it is so well equipped so comfortable and the view is just like having the sea in your front garden .. we were a group that was made up of ages ranging from 82 to 25 and 2 dogs and everyone loved it .. Ruth was so helpful and responsive I cannot find fault with anything at all Book with confidence

• "This was by far one of the best holiday houses we have ever stayed in."

  We booked it for our Golden Wedding Anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. When we arrived there was a box full of treats (sweets, biscuits, crisps,chocolate)and essentials like bread and milk , which was such a lovely touch. The house itself was absolutely gorgeous beautifully furnished and felt really like home from home the beds were super comfortable and there were masses of lovely fluffy towels , every need had been catered for, you hardly had to being anything with you even down to a selection of beach toys. I spoke to the owner and she couldn't have been more helpful. I would highly recommend this property, it's location was perfect , right opposite the beach and the views were incredible, you were right on the coastal path if you like walking. I would rate this property 10 out of 10

• "We are a group of 8 plus a dog and we stayed here for a week in this fabulous house!"

  Amazing views which is breathtaking. The house has 3 floors but we seldom go to the third to chill because the scenery outside is just irresistible. The owner Ruth is very friendly and helpful and she even provided us with a welcome hamper which is very sweet and kind of her. The house is fully equipped and it is very very convenient. It is so clean as well. Our little dog was just loving it and even love to watch by the window to appreciate the view and mind you that is every morning! This place is just amazing! With a little village in a few distance and a beach just in front of the house. What else can you ask for ! This is one of the best Holiday House and location we ever been to and it is highly recommended. We will be back ! We are so very happy that we found this place thru Sykes. We are indeed a very very happy customer!

• "Glasfryn Cottage was the perfect place to celebrate our Mum's 80th year."

  It is truly a beautiful cottage with stunning views and an inviting wood burner. Ruth reached out to us prior to our stay which helped us to plan and be prepared. We received a lovely welcome box of Welsh goodies including a lovely card for Mum which was so thoughtful and generous. We created some lovely memories in this beautiful space which we will treasure.

• "We stayed at Glasfryn for a family birthday and had a fabulous stay."

  The house lived up to expectations. Plenty of room, from the lounge with wonderful views of the harbour and sea beyond, up to the attic chill out area. In fact the higher up the house you went, the better the views got. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The welcome pack was the best one we have received and included lots of personal touches as well as the essentials like tea and coffee. There were treats from the dogs, even a ball which always comes in useful. There was even a birthday card for the birthday girl. The village was lovely with a good pub and well stocked supermarket and chippy. The recommended Indian takeaway from Almwich was delicious and ordering and delivery was easy. We would definitely visit again - this wasn't a holiday let - it was a home from home.

• "Our stay at Glasfryn was fantastic!"

  The house was exceptional. It was immaculately clean, the decor was absolutely beautiful. The beds were really comfortable, lovely duvets and there were ample soft fluffy towels. The kitchen was fantastic, well stocked with top quality appliances, crockery etc. There was plenty of sitting space for a large family and the extra sitting room at the top floor was perfect for our youngsters with a large tv for them to enjoy. The view from all the front windows was stunning, looking out over the bay down towards the harbour wall. All in all it was the best property we have stayed in. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, well thought out including cake, tea, coffees, chocolate, sweets etc and even treats for dog! I would like to say a big thank you to Ruth x

• "Thank you so much the property was perfect for our large family get together for my 60th birthday."

  Everything was covered with some really thoughtful additions from kids toys to kites and dog towels. We loved relaxing and watching the bay from the top lookout room and had some great times eating and drinking in the large kitchen diner.

• "Amazing place , great host only negative was no one being aware that we were going to drop our luggage off early as arranged then we were approached by the neighbour asking who we were and telling us we couldn’t check in til four so we left luggage in the car and when to explore ."

• "Possibly the best self catering property I've ever been in!"

  Our large family group had a wonderful stay at glasfryn. The location is superb, right by the beach with beautiful views of the bay. The house itself is spacious and well thought out, ideal for big groups. It is fantastically equipped - the kitchen especially so and it's genuinely up to the job of catering for the amount of people staying (with high quality pans etc, no aging chipped IKEA stuff here). It is maintained to a very high standard and has lovely furnishing and decoration. The bedrooms are all a good size and no crazy bed combinations like you get in other large properties (ie. Bunk beds or tiny single beds). The owner was very helpful too, they've really thought about what you need from a holiday house. Thank you!

• "An beautiful holiday home with breath taking views."

  This was the perfect location for our extended family to celebrate a family member's special birthday. We walked the coastline, ate a the nearby restaurant and relaxed together in the Bay. The house is furnished perfectly and is equipped for every eventuality. We would return without a shadow of doubt and I would highly recommend staying here. • "What a beautiful house!"

  Simply stunning and so well equipped we literally only needed to bring our clothes. The attention to detail was second to none and the communication from Ruth (the owner) was warm and friendly; I just wish we would have had the chance to meet. Our party of 10 had a fantastic weekend in Cemaes and the location and comfort of the house made the trip perfect. We will be back!
