Wait for the sun to make its moves before you do and even then, get out from under the covers at a leisurely pace as you make your way to the beautiful kitchen to get the coffee brewing.

Whilst you wait, you might take a quick, casual dip in the pool to rejuvenate mind and body before moving to the loggia where you can not only nurse the freshly-brewed cuppa, but also admire the beautiful garden.

The rest of the day can be spent in a state of bliss – breakfasts enjoyed at the dining table, mornings spent sunbathing poolside, barbecued lunches eaten alfresco, games of shoulder wars, lazy afternoons drinking wine in the loggia, lying back on the lawn as you immerse yourself completely in stargazing, and plenty of good conversation, laughter and food to see you through.

If you do venture to the beach – which really is just a short way from your doorstep – make a day of exploring the rest of the coastline. When you return, you can kindle a fire in the wood-burning stove, kick your feet up and simply relax again.
