This Art Nouveau-style villa dates back to the early 18th century and is a rare gem for those who love art and design. Outside, you’ll find an elegant portico with columns made of Lecce stone, as well as a courtyard with a private pool. And inside, the living room looks almost like a museum, with large purple stained glass windows reflecting light onto stark white furniture. Enjoy a family meal in the opulent dining area which exudes timeless charm with printed wallpaper and a large table with contrasting modern transparent chairs. Or, try your hand at the grand piano for some after-dinner entertainment. Just wandering through this home is a delight in itself, with precious vases, stunning chandeliers, friezes and mosaics at every turn. But if you can tear yourself away, Casarano allows easy access to the entire province of Lecce and, in particular, the seaside towns of Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca.
