Access to the local tramway, which is ideal for cycling, is close by. From the trail you can reach the sandy beach at Portreath or follow it the opposite direction to meet the coast at Devoran. If you don't bring you own cycles, you can hire ones locally and explore on two wheels. The sandy bays of Portreath and Porthtowan with their provisions are around 2 miles away from the accommodation. This north coastal area offers excellent surfing and attractions to suit all ages including the ruins of mine buildings around St Agnes and Cligga Point, Newquay, Godrevy, the Cornish Cider Farm, Newquay Zoo and Aquarium, Flambards Theme Park and a reasonable drive to the Lizard and Land s End peninsulas.
