Locally, you can walk to the village of Calci – just be mindful of the walk up the hill on the way back, parts of which are steep. For trips further afield, it’s a mere thirty-minute drive to historic Lucca.

*While the access road to the villa is paved, the last 100-500 metres after the gate is a steep, gravel road with a tight bend. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended, and less experienced drivers may prefer to park just after the gate.
