The property

Caernarfon 1.8 miles.

Situated a short drive from the historic town of Caernarfon is this superb semi detached barn conversion Ty Gwair (The Hayloft).

On arrival, you will be greeted by your own designated parking space and spectacular rural views.

After taking a minute to admire the scenery, make your way into the property to find a double bedroom, with access to a sunny rear patio, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an alfresco meal.

Next door, you will find a stylish en-suite shower room, where you can wash the day away in the large walk in shower.

Continue upstairs to find a contemporary open plan living area and a well equipped kitchen, boasting everything you need to rustle up a romantic meal for your loved one to enjoy at the breakfast bar together.

After dinner why not cuddle up on the sofa with a glass of wine to watch some TV or discuss your plans for the remainder of your stay.

If you can tear yourself away, why not head to the royal town of Caernarfon for the day and visit the most famous castle in Wales.

Caernarfon Castle, built in the 13th century by Edward I as a royal palace and military fortress, was at the core of the medieval walled town.

Other attractions include Welsh Highland Railway (which runs for 25 miles to Porthmadog), Segontium Roman Fort and the scenic Lôn Eifion recreational cycle route.

Waterside Doc Fictoria is home to Galeri (a contemporary arts complex with theatre and cinema).

When you've had enough of sightseeing enjoy a meal and a refreshing drink at one of the many restaurants or cafes like the Wal Restaurant or The Old Courthouse.

There are also numerous walking opportunities in the area and a short car ride will take you to Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon, where you can walk around Llyn Padarn Lake or take one of the six classic routes up to the summit of Snowdon itself if you're feeling more energetic.

Enjoy a tranquil boat trip on the lake or take a ride on Llanberis Lake Railway, a treat for all steam train enthusiasts.

Ty Gwair is ideally placed for discovering all of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey has to offer, with miles of wonderful coastline and countryside.

This really is a mecca for walkers and mountain bikers with the added bonus of a pub a short drive away.

Ty Gwair (The Hayloft) is an ideal getaway for a romantic break to this popular part of North Wales.
