The Old Dairy is a ground floor, Cotswolds’ property based in Shilton, Oxfordshire. It dates back to the 1680’s and was originally the creamery and a place where butter was churned. The owners, who have completely renovated the building, have created a beautiful retreat, but manages to retain a classical charm with high ceilings and large windows that make the space really welcoming. It can be accessed via six external steps and opens up to a living room with a wood burner, a fitted kitchen with a dining area. It has one double bedroom and a separate bathroom and WC. Outside is a typical English cottage garden. Off road parking is available. The Old Dairy is the place to visit for a short break with your partner. PLEASE NOTE: FRIDAY ARRIVALS ONLY - OTHERWISE PRIOR AUTHORISATION SHOULD BE OBTAINED FROM THE OWNER.

Shilton, Oxfordshire is a short drive away from Carterton, a well-stocked town within reach of the Cotswolds AONB. Within the town, find an array of restaurants, pubs and cafés to recharge your batteries after each adventure-packed day. Carterton is an excellent base for touring the area. On the outskirts, find the Crocodiles of the World zoo, a promised day of fun and excitement for all the family. The Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens also rest nearby for you animal lovers to make the most of.
