Or why not head for Muro Beach, less than a twenty-minute drive away, to bob about in the Balearic Sea.

In the evening, set your sights on Alcúdia, a charming town ringed by medieval walls that enclose a warren of narrow lanes, bustling plazas and an excellent selection of cafes, bars and restaurants.
