Perfectly located offering easy access to Worcester and Hereford both showcasing stunning cathedrals and riverside walks and within 20 miles, smaller market towns offering a more bespoke shopping experience are Leominster, Ludlow and Ledbury all within (20 miles). There are also a number of National Trust properties and gardens all within easy reach. For walkers, an enviable landscape of both rolling meadows and hills to climb with easy access into the Malvern Hills, the Forest of Dean, and the Brecon Beacons. Fishing is available within 5 miles, several golf clubs within 7 miles and horse riding within 3 miles. From our front door you can enjoy local walks taking in the hills around, or a swim during warmer months in the bookable private pool 300 yards away. If it is a festival that you are looking for why not take in Hay on Wye for book lovers or Ludlow for food lovers. Enjoy the views across the grounds before you enter the cottage that is attached to the owners property, with privacy assured, around a courtyard that retains many of the original features. Step into the hallway with stone floors and underfloor heating in cooler weather, space for coats and boots, along with access to the ground floor accommodation. The cool and contemporary kitchen is both spacious and well equipped offering everything you may need for your stay, including a welcome basket of local and home made produce and breakfast table and chairs. From here you can access the lounge, finished with colourful soft furnishings, and interesting artwork, enjoying natural light from one of the original arched windows with views onto the gardens, a wood burner that is perfect for a chilly autumn evening, and a Smart TV for your favourite show. The property benefits from 300mb superfast broadband with personalised Wi Fi access for your stay. Upstairs guests have the choice of two beautifully finished rooms, both offering walk in wardrobes, soft bed linens and dressing gowns. A king size bedroom, and a super king size that can be made into twin beds if required. Both bedrooms share the main bathroom on the same floor. Outside guests can relax in the gated private garden, with a patio area and a gas BBQ. There is a cedar summer house that is insulated, double glazed and heated, and has a table and cushioned seats, great for afternoon tea or wildlife watching whatever the weather. Guests are also welcome to explore the grounds by request with the owner.
