Squirreled away within 250 acres of forest landscapes, you're just a two-minute walk from the southwest's largest freshwater lake for fun on the water. Book in for windsurfing and sailing lessons down at the sailing club. But if you prefer dry land, there's a high ropes course and archery centre too. Or, for something more gentile, a stroll around the lake with your furry friends or den building in the forests is a good place to start.

When you've worked up an appetite, there's a picturesque lakeside café and bistro for an easy bite to eat. Or head back to the lodge to rustle up dinner in that made-for-action kitchen. Then all that's left to do is slide the bi-fold doors back and pad outside onto the wraparound private terrace – there's a hot tub ready and waiting.
