Popular with children and adults alike is the life size replica of Sir Francis Drake s ship The Golden Hind, but also make time to see the Napoleonic era forts and incredible panoramic sea views at nearby Berry Head (2 miles if walking or cycing), or embark on day trips to nearby Torquay (9 miles), Paignton (6 miles), Totnes (10 miles) and Dartmouth (6 miles).
