Beautiful Victorian town house located above one of the UK s busiest fishing harbours, with a proud maritime history, Brixham makes a fantastic place for a holiday in South Devon.
The harbour is the main focal point of the town, but in recent years it has also become known for its arts scene and there are several galleries and workshops which are lovely to spend an afternoon browsing. The restaurants, as visitors might expect, mostly specialise in the local seafood brought home by the fishermen, and there are plenty which are well regarded, some offering stunning sea views.
