Brixham itself is a harbour town, with a proud maritime history, which visitors may like to explore by jumping on board the fascinating replica of the Golden Hind. The harbour continues to be busy today, and there is a flourishing fishing industry which is very much in evidence from the town s numerous pubs and restaurants which specialise in the local seafood. There are several beaches within easy reach of the town centre, including Shoalstone Beach, which has the additional draw of a wonderful 53 metre tidal pool, providing safe bathing, no matter what the conditions at sea. Several exterior steps lead to the front door of this attractive property, bringing guests to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a lovingly styled room with some tasteful retro design touches. The master bedroom, a double room, occupies the second floor of the property and enjoys views of the harbour and beyond to the sea. Outside, to the rear of the properties, the garden is made up of several charming terraced patio spaces with steps connecting each area.
