It’s a great place for kids to play while the grown-ups catch up on the outdoor sofas, glass of wine in hand. You'll also find an outdoor dining area and barbecue, so freshly grilled food should definitely be on the menu. If that weren’t enough already, there are also vegetable patches, and you’re free to harvest whatever’s growing. You can easily slip inside to the open-plan living area through the French doors, and if the weather isn't great then don't worry – there are two wood-burners and underfloor heating to keep your toasty. Hove's beach is only ten minutes away on foot, where you can stroll along the promenade, paddle in the waves or simply watch the world go by from a spot on the pebbles. You'll find a range of pubs, restaurants and cafés, while nearby Hove Museum and Art Gallery is a great place to spend an afternoon. If you fancy an adventure then it takes about an hour to walk into buzzing Brighton – or you can take a twelve-minute taxi ride.
