The living areas in this single-storey home consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, Smart TV with DVD player, and a woodburning stove, and a utility with washing machine and dog hair dryer. The bedrooms consist of two super-king-size (zip/link) bedrooms with Smart TVs and en-suite wet rooms. Outside there is an enclosed front patio with furniture, barbecue, and hot tub, and off-road parking for two cars (two further parking spaces available, on request). Two well-behaved dogs welcome (with a charge of £25 per week for the 2nd dog), but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Highchair and travel cot are also available on request. Strawberry Bank - Nuthatch is an idyllic home for a Devonshire retreat. Note: Guests can book the use of the sauna and gym. Area
This charming village, which is located across the Tamar River, has a play area for kids and a tavern that serves real ales. With several wonderful walking and cycling routes, this is a great base for exploring the neighbourhood. The nearby town of Holsworthy has a lot to offer, including a tennis court, swimming pool, and beautiful park with a bowling alley. The market square is surrounded by a wide variety of historic stores, bars, and cafés in the town centre. A little farther away is the well-known seaside town of Bude, which offers something for everyone: wonderful beaches for lounging and making sandcastles, rockpools to explore at low tide, and cafes from which to take it all in.
Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
