Enjoying a great location with farm walks and wildlife ponds for you to explore, more challenging walks can be enjoyed upon the Brecon Beacons, taking in the heights of Pen y Fan (14 miles), Cribyn (13 miles), and Fan y Big (9 miles). Mountain bikers should take on the famous Taff Trail, which passes through the village and stretches to Cardiff in the south. For something a little more serene, discover the spectacular waterfalls at Blaen y Glyn (7.5 miles) and the large, picturesque reservoir at Talybont (3 miles), which is often teeming with migratory birds. After a long and busy day, stock up on supplies at the shop in the village or sample local delights in one of the two village pubs.
