Bowness and Windermere are twin towns nestled within the Lake District National Park, boasting shops, pubs, restaurants, and attractions for all the family to enjoy. Lake Windemere is based here where you can take part in watersport activities, boat trips, and cruises, other fun attractions include Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway. There are lots of popular tourist attractions such as The World of Beatrix Potter and the Old Laundry theatre which are available to visit all-year-round. Brockhole is a short drive away, home to water activities, tree top treks and nets, boat hires and more, and is accessible to the villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck. Other nearby popular attractions include Langdales, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top House at Far Sawrey, Coniston, Grizedale Forest Park, and Go-Ape Adventures.
