Spend your days hiking along footpaths through the stunning landscapes, pack picnics for days down at the beach and play games of tennis out on the private court – your hosts will even provide the rackets and balls.

Inside the lodge, you'll discover a light and airy space that steers clear of the usual rustic decor in favour of a sleek and stylish look with white walls, Japanese-inspired wall hangings and ceramics, plus a chic sliding door. However, it's definitely not a case of style over substance, as the comfy leather sofa and wood burner make the space feel cosy even on the chilliest of days.

Step through the French doors in the sitting room and you'll find a terrace with sun loungers overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside – it's the perfect spot for sundowners while the kids keep themselves busy on the play equipment.
