Area
The village of Bolsterstone rests on the fringes of the Peak District National Park, between Stocksbridge and Ewden Valley, and is one of the last remaining hill villages in the Sheffield area. The village is home to a 19th century country pub, the Castle Inn, and is also home to the Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir, which was formed in 1934. Just 1.5 miles away is Stocksbridge which boasts a good selection of eateries and shops, together with many bridleways and footpaths for visitors to discover.
