Area
Bodmin, once the county town of Cornwall, is the ideal starting point for exploring the wonderful holiday region that surrounds it.
On either side of town, you'll find the intriguing museum and unsettling presence of the old Bodmin Jail, as well as miles of calm sands and river estuaries on either side of the north or south coasts of Cornwall. While travelling from Padstow to the sea, the well-known Camel Trail passes through town. Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Falmouth's National Maritime Museum, and Padstow, a charming harbour town with its famous pubs and restaurants, are all within a reasonable driving distance from the property. Lanhydrock House, Fowey, Charlestown, The Eden Project, and Lostwithiel are all within reasonable driving distance and make for great day trips. A wide range of rural pubs and eateries may be found in the immediate vicinity.
