The entire island is brimming with interesting things to see and do, and everything is reachable in less than 30 minutes by car. The nearby cities of Holyhead and Trearddur Bay offer a variety of charming shops, taverns, and attractions. The former also has the stunning Breakwater and County Park. Trearddur Bay, meantime, is surrounded by a beautiful, rocky coastline, sand beaches, and coves, as well as the charming South Stack Lighthouse. Llanfair PG, the second-longest one-word place name in the world, is also close. Visit Llandudno, Conwy, Caernarfon, or even the Snowdonia National Park if you're an outdoor enthusiast, on the Welsh mainland for the day.
