Located a short drive from the Baroque town of Noto, this sleek, minimalist apartment is designed with a couple or solo traveller in mind. The open-plan living space sees the sun all day, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows – it’s the perfect place to sip a cup of coffee in the mornings before stepping out onto the balcony for an alfresco breakfast. Afternoons are for leisurely swims in the communal infinity pool followed by a snooze on a lounger. If you fancy a change of surroundings, hop in the car and head over Noto Beach for a stroll along the golden sands. Culture buffs should head north to Syracuse for the Archaeological Park of the Neapolis, the ancient Teatro Greco and the atmospheric island of Ortygia. After a bite to eat in a traditional restaurant, return home for a glass of Nero d'Avola by starlight.
