This spacious timber lodge is one of a collection of three, situated within the grounds of the Grade I listed Kinlet Hall, a historic country mansion that dates to the 17th century. Explore the sprawling grounds on the marked public footpaths or head down to the friendly local village pub, opposite the main entrance to the estate. The village is in the heart of the Wyre Forest district, known for its lush woodlands, meandering rivers and rolling hills. Enjoy a day out on the Severn Valley Railway (4 miles), a preserved heritage steam railway that travels through the Severn Valley. The lodge is an ideal base for keen golfers, with the fantastic 27 hole Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club just 4.5 miles away. The popular bar and restaurant is a great spot for a bite to eat and drink after a round, or after you have been out exploring the area. Make your way up through the extensive grounds and up to your lodge which enjoys an elevated position overlooking the wider estate. The spacious lodge has been thoughtfully designed to offer real comfort for friends and families that are visiting the area and ensures you will be able to relax. The open plan living space has a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for a self catering break making use of some of the fantastic local produce you will come across while out exploring the area. Enjoy a meal together at the stylish dining table that will comfortably seat four. The lounge has been finished to a high standard, with comfy sofas to sink into, an electric fireplace and a Smart TV to enjoy a movie if you are having a quieter day. Move through the lounge and into the hallway which leads off to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom is a double and has a spacious en suite shower room and a fantastic dressing area to get yourself ready for the day. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the large family bathroom is opposite. A real highlight of the lodge is the large, decked area with far reaching views across the Kinlet Estate. It is a perfect sun trap to enjoy your morning coffee or a BBQ with friends and family. There is a further lawned area that can be accessed from the lodge which is shared with two other lodges.
