Making Waves is one of a kind. Situated just behind Berlin’s cluster of galleries, it’s also within walking distance to the architectural masterpiece that is Gleisdreieck Park. On top of being fully equipped (the kitchen is a particular favourite of ours), we also love how stylish it is. Much of the furniture is custom made for the space, and it has a tranquil atmosphere that we can’t get over. As a bonus, it has Sonos speakers in every single room – this includes the bathroom for all the people who enjoy a good sing along session in the shower.
Home truths:
*The bed in bedroom three can be used as both a single or a small double
*Get ready for a free work-out – it’s on the second floor with no lift
*When we visited, the wifi wasn’t super fast
*Special mention to TV lovers – there's no television in this home
