Bang in the middle of all things cool, East Side Story is one of those rare homes that also offers a tranquil atmosphere. Markthalle Neun (our favourite food market in Berlin) is right across the street – and many of Kreuzberg’s hip hang-outs are nearby, too. A Columbian/Austrian DJ and music producer, Pablo has designed everything with great attention to detail. Incredibly inspired by the sunshine, his favourite part of the home is the sun-drenched corner with cactuses – and we understand why.

*There’s no physical home manual
*It’s on the first floor with no lift – you have to climb twenty-six steps to reach the front door
*While it sleeps three guests, one of them would be on a sofa bed in the living room
