This jungle-inspired apartment offers a base in one of Berlin's greenest areas. While the Tiergarten Park and the city zoo sit nearby, there are eateries and a supermarket within strolling distance. It's ideal for romantic getaways and solo trips. We love that this home welcomes pets for an extra charge, too. The bottom of the king-sized bed sits against the wall, but there's a door on either side for easy access. Did we mention the small balcony for alfresco bites?

*While the large bed makes for a great night's sleep, it does feel a little big for the room. Although the bottom of the bed is against the wall, the bedroom be accessed from both sides.
*If you're travelling for work, you won't find a dedicated desk here. However, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace.
