Description At First Sight: Berlin

At First Sight makes for a wonderful escape. Tucked away on a typical Prenzlauer Berg street, it offers gorgeous and calming views of an inner courtyard. The immediate area is relatively quiet, but it’s well-connected to some of the neighbourhood’s busier spots. We love how personal it feels – all the way from the Persian rugs and artwork by the host’s brother, to the delicate pops of colour and the luxurious wine fridge. The hosts are charming and are beyond excited to share their Berlin sanctuary with you.

*As it’s a hinterhaus (the backbuilding) and overlooks the inner courtyard, the living room doesn’t get a lot of natural light during the day
*This home is on the first floor with no lift – you have to climb twenty-three steps to reach the front door
*It’s not in the liveliest area in Prenzlauer Berg, but the bustling spots are only one stop away on the U-Bahn
*It sleeps six guests, but four of them would be on sofa beds in the living room
