Matlock Bath, 5 miles away, also known as Little Switzerland has a vibrant seaside without the sea vibe, and enjoys events throughout the seasons, as well as cable cars, taking you to the Heights of Abraham. Carsington Water with its water sports, cycle trails and birdwatching and fishing, is just over the hill, 4 miles away.
