As soon as you walk through the elegant gated entrance with carved granite and mosaic tiling, you know you're in for a treat. The home is immaculately clean, polished and designed to a high standard. A raft of celebrity portraits taken by the owner lines the walls – a wonderful personal touch. Select a bottle from the wine cooler and relax in the spacious living room, which has a sense of occasion with its Charles Eames leather lounge chair and velvet sofa. This light, west-facing room has two large original sash windows with views over the courtyard and chimney pots.
