Bampton is a bustling village in the Thames Valley, in the southern Cotswolds, surrounded by stunning Oxfordshire scenery. Bampton is one of England's oldest villages, with a village shop, Post Office, butcher, and traditional pubs offering superb cuisine and real ales all centred on a charming market square just a hundred yards from the cottage. The regular morris dancing events, which have been enjoyed for almost 600 years, are a good example of ancient practises.
