Head to Fort William (15 miles) to climb Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain, or try white water rafting, gorge walking or canyoning to get the adrenaline flowing. Superbly positioned on the banks of Loch Leven and surrounded by spectacular scenery, your holiday home is set on what was once part of the famous Ballachulish slate quarry and the Victorian boathouses and sheds dot the coastline around the house. Step through the front door into the stylish kitchen/diner with its slate floor and window overlooking the garden is a welcoming space to sit and enjoy a hearty breakfast or leisurely supper at the large dining table. After supper, head through to the cosy main sitting room with sliding doors overlooking the shoreline, allowing you to enjoy the ever changing scenery no matter the weather. Light the multi fuel stove, put your feet up on one of the cosy sofas and spend the night chatting about the highlights of your day.
