Grab one of the best pastries in town at Takis Bakery before walking ten minutes to the Acropolis, which you can climb to see the Parthenon in all its glory as well as breathtaking views across Athens. The ancient neighbourhood of Plaka is also just next door, with its quaint cobbled streets, tiny boutique shops, and colourful houses.
