Offering up plenty of space and a gorgeous pool area, this home near Crete's northern shore caught our eye as a base for a family retreat. The home features plenty of natural light, perfect for those slow, relaxing mornings. While some of the decor here steers towards traditional, we loved the sleek white kitchen, and long narrow windows grant panoramic views from various vantage points throughout the home. While everything requires a car to reach comfortably, it's a small price to pay for some relaxing seclusion. You're just a short drive away from the beach (7km), while the nearest eateries are about 4km away.
