• "Fantastic long weekend of peaceful solitude."

  The owner made it known upon arrival that she was available if needed and was found immediately when I had a missing item to supply it. They also kindly made it clear ahead of my departure that I didn’t have to rush out at the usual checkout time as their cleaner would not be there until later in the day. The only suggestion would be to provide a torch, especially in winter, as by their own admission the solar lights don’t really get enough sunlight to charge them and the path to the pod from the car park and the drive/road itself can be pretty dark. All in all, a wonderful weekend and I’d love to return.

This is not something that has been mentioned before and on further investigation it was apparent that some of the lights were not working . These have now been replaced and extra ones added around the car park region so hopefully this will not be a problem in the future . However, we are more than happy to provide a torch if requested. • "Lovely pod and very clean and comfortable."

  Lovely bottle of prosecco and milk in the fridge. There was tea,coffee and biscuits also available which goes a long way. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Lovely horses. We would highly recommend.

• "We had a lovely holiday, the surroundings were very beautiful and peaceful."

  Our new dog Buddy dog enjoyed himself too. We would highly recommend booking one of the pods. As it gives you great access to Arundel, Littlehampton and further afield it you wish. The pods have everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Extremely comfortable and cosy. This was our second stay and we shall be returning again next year. As we still have plenty more places to visit in West and East Sussex. The vibe is perfect for us

• "What a great little find ."

  This was absolutely perfect for me & my fiancé . Ideal for couples wanting to escape the hustle & bustle of everyday life . Pauline is an amazing lady who is there in an instant should you need anything. The pod has everything you need , lovely little touch’s , spotlessly clean . Our pod backed on to Pauline’s horses

• "I really enjoyed my stay in The Apple Pod."

  It was spotlessly clean and all the facilities were of a high standard. The bed was so comfortable and the countryside was beautiful. My dog loved the garden and field. Will definitely stay there again and lovely hosts who provided gorgeous homemade blackberry Jam,gin and vodka along with a bottle of Prosecco. Perfect

• "Overall was a brilliant stay, very clean and accommodating owners."

  Lots of local goodies to try. Only issue had was low hot water temperature. Being the time of year it is I assume it was to be affected. However everything else was a 5*

• "I absolutely loved my stay here."

  The pod was so cosy and had everything I could have wanted and needed, for me and my dog. The homemade blackcurrant jam and vodka were a very special touch. Pauline was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful and hospitable. I will definitely be coming to stay again!

• "Apple Pod…."

  Just outside the front door are horses grazing, rabbits and squirrels jumping around, then the odd fox strolling across the meadow. All of great interest to our whippet, Molly. The owners are really nice, we had some lovely chats. Apple Pod is a lovely cosy and comfortable place to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. Thank you Pauline & Paul for a lovely stay.

• "It was great to holiday with our dog."

  The local village was great for nights in and the beaches and pubs were all dog friendly. Our only quibble was that the WiFi had poor signal and the booster had a different password

• "A beautiful peaceful setting surrounded by nature."

  The welcoming touches of home made produces and the bottle of fizz were lovely. The owners are there if you need them and happy to share their local knowledge. This is certainly a dog friendly letting.

• "Apple Pod is a fantastic little place to stay for two."

  It is extremely comfortable,very clean and has everything you could need for a short break.It has a lovely view from the front doors overlooking fields.Pauline is very friendly and provides special little extras which were very welcoming.We took our dog with us who really enjoyed being aloud to run freely around the big field opposite when the lovely horses were in the other fields.Would love to visit again.

• "Apple pod is the ideal get away from it all property."

  With front doors looking onto a field you have a high level of privacy. The pod is extremely well equipped and comfortable. The bed is just the job to snuggle down in. Pauline and Paul are really lovely hosts and are happy to assist during your stay. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best weather but it was lovely and snug inside the pod. I was really impressed by the property and hope to return again. I highly recommend pod life.

• "What a fabulous little pod!"

  This was the first time we had taken our dog away so we were a bit nervous how he would be. He loved it! Having use of the field immediately outside the pod was a really great extra and he burnt off his energy sniffing and running about. Everything was very clean and all we could have wanted for a few days away. We are already planning our return visit!!

• "The pod was great a lovely setting very relaxing and peaceful ,great short heat away."

  The pod is very clean and comftable as well as homely our dog loved it . Owner was so friendly and helpful about local points of interest Is in a great position to get to local villages and towns as well as the sea. A wonderful stay we will be going back soon.

• "Apple Pod was perfect for a short stay for two with our dog."

  The Pod was spotless, there was just enough space for storage, and enough kitchen equipment for us to cook if we wanted. The Prosecco, milk and homemade blackberry jam and gin were welcome surprises. We had a very relaxing stay, which is just what we were looking for. Two minor points - the wifi did disconnect quite frequently, and the toilet paper holder was in an awkward position - but otherwise the Pod was delightful.
