From the outside, this place offers up knockout vistas of the Aegean Sea and charming blue shutters in spades. Hop between the shady terraces surrounded by fragrant gardens to drop and flop with a good book and soak up the ever-changing seascapes. Then gather everyone for sundowners beneath the shade of the elevated pergola (your new daily ritual), followed by barbecue seafood feasts.

Stepping inside, you'll love the boho interiors with heirloom-worthy antiques and statement chandeliers bringing all the wow factor. Meanwhile, the rest of the home is left pared-back and crisp white to let the traditional architectural features and local stonework do all the talking – just how we like our Greek hideaways to be. And with each bedroom offering an en-suite bathroom, there's no need to tussle for the best room here.

When that dazzling turquoise sea finally beckons you, it's just a flip-flop downhill along a scenic pedestrian path to the sandy shores with a beach bar to keep the drinks flowing, a shady playground to escape the heat of the day and straw parasols just like you imagined. And when tummies start to rumble, mosey over to the local taverna just footsteps away – there are meze plates, a glass of crisp Retsina and a warm Greek welcome waiting.
