The views over the Amalfi Coast from this home’s infinity pool and whirlpool are incredible. There are a variety of terraces for relaxing and alfresco dining, while inside this place, dating from the 15th century, there’s a traditional feel with beams and handmade tiles. There's an open fire in the living room for cooler evenings and all of the bedrooms are en-suite (two also have a private terrace). Situated in the oldest part of Amalfi, it’s just a short walk down the steps to the centre of the town or you can take one of two public lifts.

• There's no free parking at this home, but you can pay to use the nearby public Luna Rossa car park.

• There are two public lifts available from the pedestrian tunnel next to the Luna Rossa parking site from the main square of Amalfi. The first starts from the above square and takes you down 110 steps on the descent. It costs €3 per person on the way up and is free for the journey down. It’s less direct but more convenient because of the less steep steps.

• The second lift facility is right inside Luna Rossa parking and takes you close to the villa (there will be 95 more steps to climb). It costs €1 per ride for up to 6 people, and it's open from 8 am to midnight.
