Situated in the laidback, seaside neighbourhood of Galé, this dreamy holiday home has ‘idyllic’ written all over it. The interior here might be simple in style – think pristine, white walls and minimal accents – but its thoughtful design means you’ll have plenty of room for eating, drinking, and being merry with your fellow guests. Come together at the kitchen table for a Portuguese-inspired family meal or unwind in the air-conditioned living room with a drink or two before setting off for a day of sunbathing at Praia do Lourenço, a rocky beach just 1 km away.

When you’ve had your fill of being out and about, there’s a sun lounger at home with your name on it. Stretch out and soak up the last of the evening sun or cool off with a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool. Then, when it’s time to eat, fire up the barbecue and treat yourself to a spot of alfresco dining on the roof terrace. We don’t know about you, but we can’t think of a better way to end the day.
