Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Roman Pastoral is unlike anything else in our Roman collection. It’s an enormous villa in the countryside outside the city, among hills and forests and volcanic lakes. The gardens are something else, set over multiple levels with lawns, trees, a pool, a reservoir, even a place to play football. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, but honestly, that’s kind of the point. You can imagine that you’re a nineteenth-century noble, retiring to their country house for the summer.

About Castelli Romani
A way out to the southeast of the city, Castelli Romani is an idyllic group of villages that make a welcome break from the city. Nestled in among hilltops, forests, and volcanic lakes, some of them even date back as far (or further) than Rome itself, as you can tell from the abundance of ancient ruins in the area. You won’t be the first to be inspired by the area...

Host
This home is managed by Licia
This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Licia looks after this place and several others on behalf of the owners, who can’t always be around. We thought she was great – particularly chatty – and she had plenty of tips on the best things to do and places to go in the area.
