You ll find it hard to steal yourself away from the peace and tranquillity of the lakeside. However, when the time comes you can enjoy a wealth of walking from your front door, the Sugar Loaf is within walking distance and slightly further afield you have access onto the Black mountains. The traditional market town of Crickhowell is just a short drive away with great independent shops, pubs and coffee shops. In the market town of Abergavenny, you will find a Norman Castle, farmers markets and the fabulous Food Festival each September. Brecon, Hay on Wye, Cardiff and Hereford are all in easy reach, as well as Wales Industrial Heritage sites in Blaenavon. Step through the gate and follow the wooden walkway across the edges of the lake where you will see Ty Coot secluded in the distance. This rustic cabin has been constructed with re claimed materials in order to blend into the natural surroundings. Step inside where you will be pleasantly surprised by the high ceiling, traditional wooden cladded walls and floors that provide a feeling of real warmth. The lounge/kitchen/diner is warmed by a wood burner with an unlimited supply of wood from the farm. Sit back and relax on the vintage sofa and enjoy the views out onto the terrace. The kitchen area is compact and well equipped with an electric two ring hob, microwave, air fryer, sandwich toaster, toaster and fridge. A colourful dresser finishes the space and is brimming with all you would need for preparing a simple supper. For dining a small table can be pulled out with wooden chairs that are neatly tucked away. So, when the day is done and you head to the bedroom, the double bed is furnished with soft bed linen and quilts, and set within a hand crafted wooden frame. There is an en suite shower room with shower and WC. Open the doors and step onto the wooden terrace, enjoying the stunning array of wildlife on your doorstep, with an al fresco meal or drinks on the shaded garden table and chairs. There is parking for one car.
