This amazing property is ideally situated for making the most of everything on offer in this beautiful corner of the South Lakes. Take a ride through the rolling countryside on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway (1 mile), visit the popular Lakeland Motor Museum (0.5 miles), or enjoy a peaceful walk along the River Leven. Ulverston Safari Zoo (11 miles) is a must for all ages, or why not head south to the coast for a day at the seaside. Just a few miles away from neighbouring village Newby Bridge is the southern tip of Windermere, England s longest lake and a hugely popular Lake District destination at Lakeside (3 miles). Hop aboard a vessel with Windermere Steamers for a tranquil and relaxed exploration of the water and head up to Bowness (9 miles) or Ambleside (14.5 miles). Walking into this traditional Lakeland property you will feel relaxed and ready for your holiday. First is the porch area, perfect for those muddy boots and for hanging your coats and dog gear. The open plan living area is the hub of the house with three sofas surrounding the wood burner and Smart TV, with Sky TV and BT sports. It is the perfect base to chill and relax after a day exploring this picturesque region. The dining area is equipped with oak table and chairs and has plenty of space for a family feast. Head on through to the kitchen which has lovely views out across the garden. Here there is an electric oven and hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge/freezer. Up to the first floor, you ll find the main bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC, plus a twin bedroom. On the second floor there s the main bedroom with double bed and en suite WC and finally the super king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request). There are plenty of seating spots throughout the steep, stepped enclosed garden area to enjoy those amazing views. There is a patio area outside the kitchen, or head up to the top for another vantage point. There is private parking for two cars with an electric hook up. Cyclists can store their bikes in the lockable shed. Cascades Leisure Centre will be closed for maintenance work on 6th January 2025 and re opening 20th January 2025
