Located in one of the most popular parts of Somerset on the outskirts of Gurney Slade, you will be able to take full advantage of the village amenities with a selection of pubs and the village post office store all under 0.25 miles. For other amenities, the town of Shepton Mallet is only 4 miles away. There are many other attractions for which the area is famous within a short drive, including Georgian Bath which is steeped in history and well worth a visit for its attractions including the Roman Baths. You could also visit Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Bristol and the Chew Valley Lakes. The coastline of North Somerset is easily accessible and offers a range of beaches. Step into an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a feature window that extends into the roof providing wonderful views of the nearby paddock, or in the evenings snuggle up on the sofas and gaze at the starlit sky. The cottage benefits from air source heat pump air conditioning, ensuring the perfect temperature in both winter and summer. The contemporary interior design makes it a perfect escape for families and couples alike. Settle in for a snug evening with a feast, a bottle of wine and a film on the TV. The perfectly equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine; it is a great space for cooking lazy breakfasts or trying out new recipes. Head upstairs to the two bedrooms which are built into the eaves of the property; both enjoy far reaching views across the Mendip Hills. The first is a double with a TV and an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. The second bedroom is accessed via two steps and has three single beds. Completing the accommodation is the family bathroom located on the ground floor with a bath, separate shower and WC. Outside, there is a private undercover decking area overlooking surrounding fields, great for enjoying your morning coffee or to watch the sun go down with your favourite tipple. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, with shared lawns and a beautiful shared gingerbread type BBQ hut situated in the gardens, which is available for daytime or evening BBQs whatever the weather and time of year. You will be very welcome to use the undercover bike storage.
