Fire up the barbecue and outdoor oven when you're feeling peckish – we suggest souvlaki with a side of homemade pita bread – then tuck into your meal underneath the shade of the pergola, watching as the boats bob in the harbour. After lunch, sprawl out for a catnap in the sunshine or retreat inside to the breezy living room and take a breather on the built-in sofas. We love the eclectic mix of antiques – when paired with the white-wash walls, the whole house feels modern yet traditional. Come evening, sip cocktails or share a bottle of local Grecian wine as the sun sets over the Aegean Sea.

Location-wise, you're just a seven-minute drive from Paralia Platis Gialos and its charming array of beachfront eateries and tavernas. Hoping to stay active on your holiday?
