There’s plenty of outside space, so you won’t feel crowded and you can easily find a spot in the shade for reading. When the weather is hot, the pool is oh-so-inviting, whether you’re a lap-swimmer or prefer to float on a lilo lazily. The garden is surrounded by high stone walls, making it a private little oasis.

There are dining spaces in the courtyard – where there’s a built-in barbecue – and on the tiled terrace. Alfresco dinner, anyone? If you fancy eating out, you might meander one minute to one of the tavernas that line the main square in Plaka.
