Just outside Varenna, in the charming lakeside hamlet of Perledo, this apartment has views an eagle would envy. From the furnished private terrace, you’ve got a panoramic view of Lake Como, flanked by (often snow-tipped) mountains. This is the perfect spot to gather for evening meals, or sunset cocktails on the huge outdoor sofa. Inside, you’ll find nods to tradition in the big, sunny living area, like the old hearth in the full kitchen – don’t worry, there’s a modern gas stove and oven too. The three main bedrooms boast views of the lake, but the fourth sleeping area is a little less glam – a set of bunk beds in a communal hallway.
